We were commissioned to paint a mural for the
Children's Theatre Recovery Ward at the Princess Royal
Hospital in Telford, Shropshire.
We knew that the mural
had to be fun and full of colour.
We also realised that a mural of this size also had
to have a soft and gentle feel, so as to be calming;
after all, the children looking at it will either be
just going in for an operation, or just recovering
from
one.
The mural has only just been installed, so we have
yet to have any comments from patients; we hope they
are all good!
